COMPLERE 1: We know many poems in English. Now listen to them, please.

A BOY: This is my father. This is my mother.

This is my sister. This is my brother.

Father, mother, sister, brother

Hand in hand with one another.

A GIRL: A BOY:

 

How is your mother? She is fine, thanks.

How is your father? He is fine, thanks.

COMPERE 2: This year we have learned how to name colours in English. And now we offer you “The Colours of the Rainbow”, a nice song to listen to.

PUPILS:

COMPERE 2: And now one more play for you. It is called “THE LITTLE MOUSE”.

PUPIL:

MOUSE:

In the Zoo? Oh, no. Do you?

Do you live in the Zoo?

I live in a house, like you.

COMPERE 1: We play at our English lessons. And here is the game “A SAILOR WENT TO SEA”.

(All the children are showing the game forming pairs.)

PUPILS:

A sailor went to sea (3 times)

Was the bottom of the deep blue sea. (3 times)

COMPERE 2: We don’t only play and sing, we can count too.

PUPIL 1: One, two, tie my shoe.

We know a lot about animals and birds. They are our best fiiends too. We love them all.

So we learned many poems about animals, too. Here they are.

PUPIL 1: I have a little dog, and his name is Jack.

His head is white, and his ears are black.

 

PUPIL 2: I have a little pussy, and her coat is grey.

She Lives in my house, and she never runs away.

PUPIL 3: Butterfly, butterfly, where do you fly,

So quick and so high in the blue, blue sky?

PUPIL 4: The little green frog jumps on a log,

Takes off his cloak and begins to croak!

PUPIL 5: Tomorrow on Sunday we go to the Zoo.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, we go to the Zoo.

There is a giraffe there, and a zebra, too,

A bear, and a monkey, and a kangaroo.

PUPIL 6: Today, when I was at the Zoo,

I watched the mother kangaroo.

Inside her skin she has a pocket.

She puts her baby there to rock it.

COMPERE 1: The letters of the ABC are our best friends. They help us to read books.

COMPERE 2: I hope you like to look in a book. I hope you like to read a good book.

CHILDREN ALL TOGETHER (singing):

Make new friends, but keep the old.

One is silver, and the other gold.

CHILDREN ( turning to each other ):

Always give your right hand,

When a friend you meet,

Shake his hand most kindly,

CHILDREN ( watching the spectators ):

COMPERE 1: We made friends with the ABC.

We can read, we can write.

We can sing, we can dance,

We can speak English, too.

We love learning English.

A GIRL: Now it is the time for a merry play, No more lessons for today.

COMPERE 2: Right you are. Now we can have a rest. So let’s sing “THE MERRY SONG”.
