Education is an important part of life. Being educated means to know a lot of necessary and useful things for life. Образование является важной частью жизни. Быть образованным, значит знать много необходимых и полезных вещей для жизни

Every child starts going to school from the age of seven and till 16. The Russian education system consists of 3 basic components: elementary, secondary and higher education.

Каждый ребенок начинает ходить в школу с 6 лет и до 16. Российская система образования состоит из трёх основообразующих компонентов: начального, среднего и высшего образования.

If the pupil decides to continue studying in high school, which lasts for two years, he can enter the university. Если ученик решает продолжить учебу в старших классах, которые длятся два года, он может поступить в университет.

A diploma is given after four or five and a half years of study. Диплом даётся после четырех или пяти с половиной лет обучения.

I study at the faculty of economics in VSU. My fallow of studys is Finance and credit. Я учусь на факультете экономики в Вологодский Государственный Университет. Мое падение предметы Финансы и кредит. VSU it provides a wide range of specialties. Он предлагает большой выбор специальностей. There are 15 faculties in the University. Здесь 15 факультетов. The University is recognized abroad abd since 1996 has been accepted in the International Association of Universitirs. Университет признают заграницей и с 1996 года он принят в IAU.

Education in the United States of America involves 12 years of schooling. Образование в Соединённых Штатах Америки подразумевает 12 лет учёбы в школе.

Some go to the college, some to the university. Некоторые идут в колледж, некоторые в университет.

Higher education in Great Britain is quite expensive, especially for foreign students. However, there are sometimes tuition grants for talented students. The oldest universities in England are Oxford and Cambridge. Старейшие университеты Англии — Оксфорд и Кембридж.

The Russian Federation is my homeland. It is the largest country in the world. It occupies one seventh of the Earth's surface. Its total area is about 17 million square kilometres.

Our land is washed by 12 seas and oceans: the Arctic,the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans.

Our country has numerous forests, plains and steppes, taiga and tundra, highland and deserts. The highest mountains are the Altai, the Urals and the Caucasus. The longest rivers are the Volga, the Ob, the Lena.

On the Russian territory there are 11 time zones. Our country is one of the richest in natural resources countries in the world: gas,coal and other minerals.

Moscow is the capital of our Homeland. It’s the largest political,scientific,cultural and industrial center of the country and one of the most beautiful cities on the globe.

The Russian Fed is a constitutional republic headed by the President. President controls only the executive branch of power-the government.The legislative power belongs to the Federal Assembly comprising two chambers: the Council of Federation and the State Duma. The judicial power belongs to the system of Courts.

Vologda - a city in Russia, founded in 1147. Located 450 km from Moscow. In 1238, the area separated from Rostov principality. Vologda is one of the largest cities in the north-west of Russia and one of the oldest Russian cities. The total aria is 144 527 squeare km.

The territory of the region is crossed by highways and railways connecting European part of Russia with Urals and Siberia regions. The climate of Vologda region is of moderate continental type with cold winters. The main natural resources are timber and fresh water. Economics of the region is dependent on financial and economical situation of the holding “Severstal-group” located on the territory of the province.
In the city 224 monuments of history, architecture, culture, 128 of them were taken under state protection. Since 1999, Veliky Ustyug is considered to be the birthplace of Father the Frost. Main museums of the region: Vologda state historical-architectural and arts museum-preserve, Kirillo-Belozersky, Veliko-Ustyugsky.

In Vologda built quite a number of churches and cathedrals. Tourists can have a look the kremlin sqeare or St.Sofia cathedrow, park veterance. Till nowadays some traditional art handicrafts are preserved: Vologda lace - Vologda plant “Snezhinka”.

По территории области проходят автомобильные и железные дороги, соединяющей европейскую часть России с Уралом и Сибирью. Климат Вологодской области умеренно континентальному типу с холодной зимой. Основными природными ресурсами являются древесина и пресная вода. Экономика региона зависит от финансово-экономической ситуации холдинга “Северсталь-групп” расположенный на территории провинции.
В городе 224 памятников истории, архитектуры, культуры, 128 из них взяты под охрану государства. С 1999 года Великий Устюг считается родиной отец Мороз.

Главные музеи области: Вологодский государственный историко-архитектурный и художественный музей-заповедник, Кирилло-Белозерский, велико-Ustyugsky. В Вологде, построен целый ряд церквей и соборов. До наших дней сохранились некоторые традиционные ремесла искусства: Вологодское кружево - Вологодский завод “Снежинка”.

The USA is the South largest country in the world (after Russia, Canada and China). Including the states of Alaska and Hawaii, The US occupys an area of 9 millions square km. It borders Canada on the North. The country lies in the temperate zone. The US is a varied land of forests, mountains and lowlands. The center of the country is washed by the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. The Mississippi is one of the world's great rivers; it was known to American Indians as the "father of waters". The USA is one of the greatest industrial nations in the world(25% of the world's industrial products, agricultural goods, and services). The USA has often been called "a nation of immigrants".But in spite of all the different cultural traditions, people speak the same language,follow the same national laws and regulations. The American people are always on the move -17% of all Americans move to new homes every year. The largest cities of the USA are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Houston, San Francisco. New York city is America's largest city. Its population in1990 was 7.3 million. Its leading cultural center. The USA is a federal republic, a union of 50 states. The flag of the USA is called "Stars and Stripes". One of the main places people want to visit is the capital of the USA, Washington D.C. It’s a small city of mainly political importance and the White House is situated there.

For example, New York is the largest city of the country and one can see many skyscrapers in this city. Las Vegas and Atlantic City are world famous with its numerous casinos and entertainment facilities. Los Angeles is the home of Hollywood. Other than that, all tourists of the USA want to see the Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes, and also to swim in the Atlantic and Pacific.

Великобритания, официальное название-Соединенное Королевство Великобритании и Северной Ирландии. Великобритания состоит из четырех стран: Англии, Шотландии, Уэльса и Северной Ирландии. Их столицы - Лондон, Эдинбург, Кардиф и Белфаст.
