“Higher education” and find the key words to the text.

Higher education plays an important part in the life of any country. It trains people to become teachers, engineers, doctors and other professional workers. When boys and girls finish school they may work or enter any special colleges or higher university.

The academic year is divided into two semesters. During the academic year students have to attend lectures and get ready for seminars and pass their tests and exams. Twice a year students have vacations- two weeks in winter and two months in summer.

Universities have their own Students’ houses with large and excellent sport centers. Every faculty has its own specialized libraries, laboratories, workshops and computer centers, where students can prepare their course papers, reports, do all necessary tasks.
