Care of environment - care of the future!

In the activity the Danone company is guided the principle " To bear health to people without prejudice to health of our planet" therefore the responsible attitude to ecology is among priorities of the company. Problems of "Danone" at the organization of production are rational use of natural resources, reduction of quantity of waste and their processing, reduction of a water consumption, energy and oxygen. The Danone Company still in the seventies has started of the twentieth century the program for processing of waste of packing, in 1996 "Environmental policy" of the company has been accepted. In 2000 the company has started the project on reduction of consumption of energy for 20% and waters for 30% at all plants "Danone" in the world by 2010 which is successfully executed before term.

The tasks of the Danone Company designated in environmental policy:

Ø reduction of consumption of all types of energy and water at plants and at offices;

Ø modernization of treatment facilities;

Ø reduction of weight of packing;

Ø use of more environmentally friendly materials;

Ø localization of suppliers of raw materials and materials;

Ø processing of waste;

Ø Optimization of use of transport and logistic schemes of delivery of finished goods and another.

The policy of the Danone Company in the field of ecology allows to look in a new way at the existing processes of production and product sales, to reveal possibilities for their improvement, optimization and reduction of expenses.

 1 yogurt a day

On February 14, 2012 Danone-Berkut LLP I have started the campaign "1 yogurt a day" in Kazakhstan.

The purpose of this campaign is to impart to Kazakhstan citizens useful habits in food for this purpose to make a contribution to education of the healthy and happy population. The essence of the program consists in promoting of consumption of natural dairy products in Kazakhstan. The project is completely social and is directed to promotion of healthy food by means of the use of at least 1 yogurt in day.

Why yogurt? Yogurt is useful fermented milk product which helps to reduce cholesterol level, makes active vitamins of group B, strengthens immune system, and supplies an organism with calcium, many other things fight against harmful bacteria also. Originally the 1 yogurt a day program started for the staff of the Danone Company. Thanks to her, the staff of the company had an opportunity to consume 1 yogurt a day, adding itself a part of health.

Further, for all 2013 in 5 large cities of Kazakhstan of "Danone" together with the Kazakh academy of food I carried out an educational program "All truth about yogurts" in which representatives of various government institutions, NGO, and also mass media took part.

In 2014 within the project a number of actions is organized. The main the area of work is information campaign by means of the organization of visit of production capacities of Danone-Berkut LLP plant in the settlement of Bayserka for children of preschool and school age, and also by means of carrying out educational lectures about healthy nutrition in kindergartens, schools and business centers. Transition to such simple formula as consumption of 1 yogurt daily, can give an essential impetus in order that we have approached the European standards of consumption of dairy products and, respectively, have taken a step to improvement of quality and life expectancy of the Kazakhstan people.

 Work with suppliers.

Production of Danone Group of companies in Kazakhstan it is made from high-quality Kazakhstan milk. Suppliers of milk get out on the basis of the audit including an assessment of quality, safety and influence on environment.

The farms which have shown the potential for effective cooperation become participants of the program of development of suppliers. She is directed to increase in volume of supply of milk, increase of profitability of production, decrease in impact of dairy animal husbandry on ecology and means various measures for support of farms:

ü Help in production process, including training of personnel;

ü Consultation on questions of maintenance and treatment of animals;

ü Target advance payments on purchase of the equipment, seasonal field works.

 Platforms to children.

Almaty, on May 28, 2015

By the end of summer of 2015 will put into operation in total 60 game complexes in the yards of Kazakhstan.

In honour of the International Children's Day the Social movement "Platforms to Children" in partnership with Public fund Sport concept opened the first four children's playgrounds constructed in the Almaty yards.

The opening ceremony has taken place on May 28, 2015, to the address Aymanov St., 216.

Organizers will realize the project on drawing attention of the public to a problem of lack of specially equipped safe space for carrying out leisure in the yards and assist in development of mass sport, by creation and operation of domestic is sports game complexes, and also on revival of culture of trainers social activists, development of domestic clubs, children's teams.

Until the end of summer of 2015 60 playgrounds in 11 cities of Kazakhstan will be put into operation in total that will allow more than 3 thousand children to spend of 2 years the leisure-time safely. In seven months of implementation of the project from all Kazakhstan has arrived to improve more than 900 applications with a request a condition of the yard, the preference has been given to the yards which are actually in a deplorable state. After construction and reconstruction of the platform KSK will be transferred to fixed assets. In the long term responsible residents will have to support a condition of platforms.

On average, on reconstruction of one platform 350 thousand tenges, are allocated for construction of new – on 800 thousand tenges.

The budget of the project, following the results of a charity event from TM "Rastishka" - fund raising in the help of the movement "Platforms to Children", for the period September - December, 2014 16 037 022 tenges have been collected. This budget has been selected for construction of 17 new playgrounds in 11 cities of Kazakhstan. Besides, in honor of 15 the anniversary of a trademark in Kazakhstan the company has selected the budget for construction of additional 10 platforms in 6 cities. The general budget of the project has made about 25 million tenges. The project was supported by the Kazakhstan stars – the singer Lido, the circus performer Murat Muturganov, the radio host Diana Snegina, the champion of Europe in hockey Inar Uteev have come to the ordinary yard to motivate children to lead active lifestyle.

"For children game – fun, it something more important isn't simple. In game the child studies the world therefore for him it is necessary to create space in which he could realize himself. Unfortunately, now in view of lack of interesting places for leisure, and the most important safe, the increasing number of parkings in the territory of the yards, children are forced to spend time, or at the computers, or to play on the street in unsafe conditions. We want to make so that in life of each child there was what is extremely necessary for the full-fledged, happy childhood: the safe developing game space", - Zulfia Baysakova, the chairman of the Social movement "Platforms to Children", the chairman of the board of OYuL "Union of the Crisis Centers of Kazakhstan" has commented.

"Certainly, the main responsibility of adults in relation to children – to provide the safe environment in which children could play actively with the minimum risk for health and life. This task is solved provided that adults will independently show civil activity in the organization of leisure of children in the fresh air in the most comfortable and safe conditions", - Shamonal, the CEO of the Danone Berkut company who has acted as the general sponsor of the project has commented on Renault.

"For development of mass sport the domestic infrastructure, sports mini-platforms, domestic skating rinks is necessary. Our purpose in revival of mass sport within walking distance, domestic competitions, city tournaments among regional teams", - Alexey Kuznetsov, the vice-president of OF Sport Concept has added.

Data Collection.

The data analysis is the main part of this research to interpret the data collected. It was extremely important to gather valid and accurate figures to make an effective and successful analysis. The selection of the data analysis method is a significant part in achieving the research aim and objectives successfully. The data analysis techniques that are used to study obtained information vary according to each method of data collection used in the research. It is very important to note that the results of each analysis differ to qualitative and quantitative approaches; however they are finally used together, complementing each other.
