Winter

Winter begins in December. The winter months are December, January, February. The weather is cold and windy. It often snows. The trees, houses are with snow. The days are short, the nights are long. Children like winter. They can skate, ski and play snowballs. Winter is the time for fun. We have New Year on the 31st of December.

At the English lesson.

My name is Helen. I am in the sixth form. I go to school in the morning. In the street I meet my friends. They are going to school too. We have English three days a week. At the English lesson we stand up, when the teacher comes in the classroom and she says: “Good morning children”. Then the pupil on duty tells the date, the weather. At the lessons we do exercises, ask and answer questions, read texts. We like to learn English.
