Making appointments





 

I. Write down some words and expressions from the film.

 

1. To make an appointment – to set up a meeting, to arrange a meeting.

2. Sharp – means “exactly” when calling the time (e.g. at 8 sharp).

3. Well done! – Good of you! (a praise interjection).

4. Development workshop – laboratory where new products are designed.

5. Itinerary – a plan or list of the places you will visit on a journey.

6. To launch – to make a new product available for sale for the first time.

7. Schedule – a plan of what someone is going to do and when they are going to do it.

8. To meet the deadline – to be able to do something on time, according to a schedule.

10. To be jet lagged – to be tired and disorientated in time after flying a very long distance.
