Profile training - is the existing type of training in a particular field of study depending on the capabilities and features of the institution, as well as the desires and needs of students enrolled in it. It elected profile (for example, mathematical or philological) defines the objectives and content of education in this educational institution

The profile is different from the general education course of their professional orientation and a more in-depth study of the subject chosen school.First of all this learning in schools with in-depth study of foreign languages (special schools), in which students focus on the language profile since the beginning of learning a foreign language and properly motivated.In parallel with the traditional special schools in accordance with the federal component of the state educational standard at the senior level of secondary school introduced a two-tier training students: Secondary / base and profile.In this profile training can be philological (the study of native and foreign languages) and philological (social, humanitarian, natural-scientific, economic, legal, etc.), but with a thorough study of foreign languages.Thus, currently specialized education in foreign languages in Russian schools represented by the following basic forms:-specialized training in a special school,-philological and=philological profile to complete secondary school.Specialized education in foreign languages, introduced into the X and X1 classes, can not be equated with specialized education in special schools with their own characteristics, as well as extensive experience of fruitful work and undoubted achievements in training students in foreign languages. Therefore, the introduction of profile training at the senior level of secondary school does not preclude the existence of a special school with in-depth study of a foreign language, which begins in elementary school.The purpose of philological learning foreign languages in high school, complete secondary school is to meet the professional interest of students for classes languages and philology. In this practical task may be assigned different, depending on the specific conditions of pedagogical training needs of students and the availability of appropriate staff.For example, this could include a guide-interpreters or translators or technical literature, research activities in the field of language-specific or general and comparative linguistics, the mastery of basic skills and didactic preparation for entry into language faculties of pedagogical universities, etc.

Foreign language can be integrated into any philological profile if the school deems it practicable and consistent.

And as the means by which it is necessary to possess good.Depth study of a foreign language as part of philological profile is shown in greater attention to language form, language laws, and sociocultural characteristics of the studied language and provides more hours than in the base rate.

Mastery of a foreign language as a core subject in philological profile enables graduates closer to achieving the threshold advanced level - B2 level (in terms of the Council of Europe).
