My Biography

My name is Petrova Anna. I am Russian. I am twenty-one. I was born in a small town of Totma the Vologda region. Two years ago my family moved to Vologda where I live now with my parents and two sisters.

My father is a doctor. he works at a hospital. My mother is a housewife. She has very much work to do about the house: shopping, cooking, washing, laundry.

I have two sisters. My younger sister’s name is Kate. She is fifteen. She is a schoolgirl. She is in the tenth form. She is a good pupil. She gets only good marks. She likes History and Literature. My elder sister’s name is Olga. She is twenty-three. She is a student at the Polytechnics. She is in her fifth year. After she graduates from the Institute she will work as an economist for one of the Vologda firms. We are a very friendly family.

I am an office worker at a firm. As I am a Law student, I am going to work as a lawyer with this firm. I study at the Moscow International Law and Economics Institute after A.S.Griboyedov. I study by correspondence. When I was at school I wanted to be a lawyer. I liked History and was interested in how different countries were governed. So when I finished school I decided to take entrance examinations to the Law Institute. I passed the exams well and became a student in 1994. Now I am in my second year. My favourite subjects are Law, Criminal Law. I am fond of sports and spend a lot of time playing table tennis. I sometimes take part in competitions.

I am married. My husband is a student too. He is graduating. He is in his sixth year. He works very much. He is also a good student and he helps me. We don’t have children yet. We like to spend our time together.
